MIC’d Up (Music Industry Classrooms) is an artistic, community-based initiative that connects all-star Philly DJs, producers and musicians with the next generation of talent – Philadelphia’s District students! Be prepared for an All Star cast of MIC’d Up students to present an engaging mix of timeless music styles. The second set will feature an open mic vibe.

Pop-Ups at the Portal is an all ages, interactive music series presented by University City District and Gretchen Elise at the outdoor Trolley Portal Gardens, 4000 Baltimore Ave. Philadelphia. Events are free each Thursday 5pm - 7pm. In inclement weather, the event will move inside Renata’s Kitchen at the same location.
